Day 1
Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Welcome to Tanzania, a land of breathtaking landscapes, rich wildlife, and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our professional safari representative and transferred to Airport Planet Lodge, a charming eco-lodge surrounded by lush gardens and offering stunning views of Kilimanjaro.
Take the rest of the day to relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to unwind by the pool, enjoy the peaceful natural setting, or prepare for the exciting safari and mountain experiences ahead.

Day 2
Day 2: Mount Kilimanjaro Day Hike
After a hearty breakfast at Airport Planet Lodge – Moshi, set out with your experienced guide for an unforgettable Mount Kilimanjaro day hike. This adventure gives you a taste of the world’s tallest free-standing mountain without the need for a multi-day climb.
Trek through lush montane rainforests, where you may encounter playful blue monkeys, exotic birdlife, and unique alpine flora found only on Kilimanjaro’s slopes. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the mountain’s diverse ecosystems and local cultural legends.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch on the slopes with sweeping views before descending. In the late afternoon, transfer to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s famous northern safari circuit. Upon arrival, check in at Arusha Planet Lodge, a tranquil retreat set amidst tropical gardens, where you can relax and prepare for the exciting safari days ahead.

Day 3
Day 3: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at Arusha Planet Lodge, set off on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich reserves. Known for its massive herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and diverse birdlife, Tarangire offers an authentic and less-crowded safari experience.
Upon arrival, enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park with panoramic views of the savannah. In the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive in search of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. Tarangire is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 500 recorded species.
As the sun begins to set, depart for Ngorongoro Farm House, a charming lodge set amidst coffee plantations and lush gardens near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Relax and enjoy a delicious dinner under the African night sky.

Day 4
Day 4: Tarangire – Western Serengeti
After an early breakfast at Ngorongoro Farm House, begin your scenic drive through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area and across the legendary Serengeti National Park. Today’s journey takes you to the Western Serengeti, an area famed for its seasonal wildebeest migration and incredible predator action.
The Western Corridor, with its lush riverine forests and open plains, is a prime wildlife viewing region. Depending on the time of year, you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Grumeti River, often shadowed by crocodiles and big cats.
Enjoy en-route game drives spotting lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and a stunning variety of birdlife before arriving at your luxury tented camp. Spend the evening at Sounds of Silence – Western Serengeti, where comfort meets the wild, and enjoy a gourmet dinner under a star-studded African sky.

Day 5: Full Day in Western Serengeti
Wake up to the sounds of the wild and enjoy breakfast at Sounds of Silence – Western Serengeti before setting off on an unforgettable full-day Serengeti safari. Today’s adventure focuses on exploring the Western Corridor, one of the most dramatic wildlife areas in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park.
Depending on the season (typically May to July), you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration crossings over the Grumeti River—a breathtaking natural spectacle often accompanied by heart-pounding predator action from lions, crocodiles, and cheetahs.
Your professional safari guide will take you to prime viewing spots, ensuring you encounter a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffalo, and countless bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the savannah before continuing your game drives into the afternoon.
Return to your luxury tented camp in the evening for a hot shower, a gourmet dinner, and stories around the campfire.

Day 6
Day 6: Western Serengeti – Central Serengeti
After breakfast at Sounds of Silence – Western Serengeti, depart on a scenic drive to the Central Serengeti, the beating heart of Serengeti National Park. Known for its abundance of wildlife throughout the year, this area is a prime safari destination in Tanzania’s northern circuit.
As you journey eastward, enjoy an afternoon game drive along the way, keeping an eye out for prides of lions lounging on kopjes, cheetahs scanning the horizon, leopards resting in acacia trees, and massive herds of buffalo and elephants grazing in the grasslands. The Central Serengeti is also home to endless plains dotted with wildlife and spectacular birdlife.
Arrive at Jackal Lair Camp in time to relax, enjoy a hot shower, and savor a freshly prepared dinner under the African night sky. The camp’s intimate setting allows you to fully immerse yourself in the wilderness.

Day 7
Day 7: Full Day in Central Serengeti
Wake up to the sounds of the wild and enjoy breakfast at Jackal Lair Camp before setting off on a full-day Central Serengeti safari. This region is world-famous for its high concentration of big cats, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards—making it one of the best places in Africa for predator sightings.
Spend the day exploring the sweeping plains and the iconic rocky kopjes that serve as lookout points for lions and shelter for leopards. Your experienced guide will take you to prime game-viewing areas, where you might also encounter elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, and a vibrant variety of bird species.
Pause midday for a scenic picnic lunch surrounded by the Serengeti’s breathtaking scenery before continuing your game drives into the afternoon. Return to camp in the evening to unwind, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and share stories under the starry African sky.

Day 8
Day 8: Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at Jackal Lair Camp – Central Serengeti, enjoy a morning game drive as you make your way out of Serengeti National Park. This journey offers one last chance to spot lions, leopards, elephants, and other wildlife against the park’s sweeping plains.
Continue towards the world-renowned Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater—the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth. Along the way, you’ll pass through dramatic highland landscapes, offering panoramic views and excellent photo opportunities.
Arrive at Ngorongoro Wild Camp, set amidst the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. The afternoon is yours to relax, soak in the breathtaking views, and prepare for tomorrow’s descent into the crater for one of the most famous game drives in Africa.

Day 9
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Start the day early with a descent into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the “Garden of Eden” of East Africa, the crater floor is home to over 25,000 large animals, including all members of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.
Spend the morning on a half-day game drive, spotting an incredible variety of wildlife such as zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, flamingos, and hippos. Pause midday for a scenic picnic lunch by the hippo pool, where you can relax and enjoy the views before your ascent back to the crater rim.
Afterwards, drive back to Arusha, the safari capital of northern Tanzania. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, carrying unforgettable memories of your Tanzania safari adventure.
